World University Service (WUS) - Scholarship and training for Albanian students

It is our aim to strengthen the educational elite in Albania and to promote the training of future specialists. Therefore we provide scholarships for students in their final year or in the phase of their labour market entry or for their business start-ups. The goal is that young Albanians can develop future occupational prospects in Albania.

Scholarships (€ 250 per month) are aimed for students in the final phase of their studies (completion expected by study-year 2018), at all Albanian state universities. Applicants with good academic achievements from low-income families are preferred.

The monthly scholarship of €250 can be granted apart for completing the studies for the implementation of a business start-up idea or, young career entrants may optionally receive a monthly subsidy for specialist internships. During the maximum six-month grant period, the students receive job application training and start-up coaching (individual and in groups), depending on the type of grant.
