Call for Papers

On its twentieth anniversary, the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Shkodra is pleased to extend an open invitation for participation in this special celebration. One of the main events of the occasion will be an international conference on English and American Studies regarding the history, the present status and the future of how we, as English teachers and scholars, shape the way we promote the English language and culture. Teaching and learning English has undergone tremendous changes over the last two decades. We have experienced these changes in many ways. Adjusting the way we teach and promote English is always a challenge, yet a necessity. In this ever-changing world around us, we need to be constantly shaping and reshaping the way we promote English language and culture.

We would like to invite scholars, academics and those who are interested in participating or presenting their proposals for a paper related to the main theme of the conference. Proposals should be around 300 words in which you state the title of your presentation, a brief description of your  research and 3-5  key  words that  best  represent  your  paper.  All  abstracts  should  be in English. Please indicate the institution or company you are affiliated with and put your email address below you name. All proposals should be sent to the following e-mail address: bbushgjokaj@gmail.com.

We will be looking forward to receiving your proposals.

Conference fee: 40 Euro (payment upon arrival)
