Annual CEEMAN Case Writing Competition - Now Open for Submissions

CEEMAN in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing is happy to announce the launch of the 21st CEEMAN Case Writing Competition.

The aim of the competition is to encourage and promote the development of high-quality teaching case material relevant for the realities of dynamic and emerging economies and at the same time promote the development of case-writing capabilities in those countries. CEEMAN has been promoting the case method in management education and helping develop case writing and teaching skills also through their International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA), which takes place every year in June in Bled, Slovenia.

Global submissions for the competition are invited with the focus on developing and emerging markets (Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Middle East). The case studies need to demonstrate a real situation in a real company with clear decision-making situation, and have a well-developed teaching note ready to be used in classroom.

To submit your case study, visit the online submission site at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/eemcs and when prompted, select CEEMAN 2015 as the issue you are submitting to. The deadline for submissions is 29th May 2015.

The total CEEMAN/Emerald award prize pool is worth over €10,000, including €4,000 prize money, split across the 1st to 3rd places, and scholarships to attend one of CEEMAN’s faculty development programs. Prizes are awarded to the overall winner and two runners-up at the 23rd CEEMAN Annual Conference Gala Dinner in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 25 September 2015.

All cases submitted to the competition will be considered for publication in the Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS) collection.
