The Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, her Excellency Mrs. Romana Vlahutin meets the students of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi"

The Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, her Excellency Mrs. Romana Vlahutin met students of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi" on June. 16. This meeting took place at the Conference Hall of the University Library.
The meeting was opened by Mrs. Miriam Neziri Angoni - Team Leader of EUIC Shkodra and Vlora.
Taking the floor, Mrs. Romana Vlahutin thanked the students for the participation. She expressed the satisfaction that she was for the first time at the University of Shkodra, which she considered as one of the best universities in the country. The focus of this meeting was the participation in the local elections on 21st June 2015. She said. "It is very important to vote. Voting is a privilege and a responsibility. This is why I thought this is an important meeting with students. The day when you are going to vote, is the day when you will confirm democracy in the country and you will confirm yourself and your future". The activity continued in the form of a conversation with the students.
The event was also attended by Mr. Robert Adams, an expert on elections.
Earlier, EU ambassador had a meeting with the rector of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi", Prof. dr. Artan Haxhi.
