The graduation ceremony of students of the Faculty of Economics.

The Economic Faculty of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi" organized the graduation ceremony on Friday, on 24. 07.2015. This ceremony took place at the Conference Hall (A3) by the Rectorate and was attended by students, teachers, parents and business representatives.
The ceremony was opened by the lecturer of the Business Administration Department, Mrs. Elvisa Drishti.
The Vice- Rector Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi", Prof. as. dr. Fatmir Vadahi, congratulated the graduated students and said: "We as a university have professionally trained you to work in the field of your expertise and we have prepared you to make decisions. We tried to develop the confidence and desire for employment, do our best in order that work, responsibility and creativity characterize you. "
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. dr. Arjeta Troshani, after praising the work and efforts of students who were graduated, focused on the work conducted by the Faculty of Economic in recent years. The Dean noted that the quality of teaching, research and close cooperation with business were some of the pillars of their work. Later, she presented one of the latest initiatives which had to do with the opening of a Master's degree in the field of export management in collaboration with the Italian private consulting entity "PROFIN ITALIA".
On behalf of this entity, Mr. Nicolo Castello welcomed and expressed confidence that the graduated students would emerge in the labour market.
At this ceremony, an assessment for students and their work came from the representative of Raiffeisen Bank in Tirana, Mrs. Ariana Demuçaj, who promised to involve students of this Faculty in the activities performed by this bank.
Prof. Mirjeta Beqiri a former colleague of Shkodra University, currently a professor at the University of Gonzaga (USA), became part of the ceremony by handing the price "Sadetin & Mirjeta Beqiri Excellence Award" to some students of excellence.
The ceremony continued with the distribution of some certificates brought by Prof. Ted Oelfke from Sandhills Community College, USA.
Congratulations to the students also came from the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Albana Boriçi, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Prof.as.dr. Blerta Dragusha and the Head of the department of Tourism, Prof. as. dr. Brilanda Bushati.
Best students of this faculty expressed their emotions at the end of the ceremony.
In total there were graduated 196 students from this faculty during the academic year 2014-2015.
