The first workshop titled: "Modern methods of teaching" organized on 24.04.2015

The Centre of Excellence of Shkodra University, initiated by the Faculty of Economics, in collaboration with ASET http://www.aset-al.com organized the first workshop titled: "Modern methods of teaching". This conference took place at A3 conference room by the Rectorate of Shkodra University. Ms. Eranda Bilali, professor of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Shkodra University, and Armir Lazaj, representative of ASET referred during this workshop.
This initiative was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. dr. Arjeta Troshani.
The workshop was attended by lectures of Shkodra University. During this event there was explained that the Centre of Excellence, approved by the Senate, is intended to offer the following trainings based on the best western experiences:
• Training for the professors on new teaching methods;
• Training of the representatives of public institutions on new methods of management and communication skills.
• Training the professors on teaching specific and applied skills related to the teaching process.
• Different trainings with a great variety of topics for specific communities in different sectors of the economy, education and science.
With a wider financial autonomy and new areas of cooperation with other faculties of the University of Shkodra, this centre will become a tool for improving the quality of teaching, research, support young professors, as well as a source of income for Shkodra University.
