The forum titled "European integration and strengthening of democracy, challenges that require the participation of citizens. European model of society, the social dimension and social dialogue” was organized on 15.12.2014.

The "European integration and strengthening of democracy, challenges that require the participation of citizens. European model of society, the social dimension and social dialogue” forum was held by the Albanian Helsinki Committee in collaboration with the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi”. This event took place at the conference hall of the Scientific University Library and was conceived as a forum with students and citizens on the above mentioned topic. This event was moderated by the program manager of the Albanian Helsinki Committee Mr. Andi Muratej and by the Head of Teaching Department at Shkodra University, Prof. Mehdi Kroni. The following issues were the subject of this discussion in this activity: The challenges of society in the context of integration into the European Union; The model of European society in the social perspective, etc. The forum aimed to inform and encourage the communities of students to discuss on topics of social interest which provide challenges to the process of European integration of the country.
