The Diplomatic Academy of Vienna will organise a series of skills and capacity training seminars
from 23 June to 4 July 2014. The highly practical and participatory seminars are tailored to the

This interactive seminar is ideal for business people, diplomats and anyone who needs to ensure
they can effortlessly follow the correct rules of behaviour in their professional lives.
Module 3: Managing Media Interest in a Crisis € 440

The aim of this seminar is to give participants an idea of how they may benefit from increased
media attention in crisis situations but also how they can avoid negative reporting.
Module 4: International Negotiations € 1,440
30 June – 3 July 2014, 17.00-21.30
This highly practical and participatory seminar is tailor-made for professionals dealing with
international negotiation processes of different sorts.
Module 5: Mediation in International Settings € 440
4 July 2014, 17.00-21.30
This seminar explores key issues in the field of mediation and conflict resolution. Real-life cases
deal with socio-political mediation and dialogue processes, as well as with mediation processes
within organisations.
