Call for papers: PAR International Leadership Conference 23 - 24 March, 2018 Opatija, Croatia

On behalf of the Dean of Business School, doc.dr.sc. Gordana Nikolić, we are pleased to cordially invite you to the 7th PAR International Leadership Conference titled “FROM ENTREPRENEUR TO LEADER”, which will be held from March 23-24, 2018 in Opatija, Croatia.

Traditionally, the PILC scientific and professional conference has been organized by the Business Academy Rijeka and Business School PAR from Rijeka, Croatia in cooperation with prestigious international partners. The goal of this conference is to promote a greater understanding of leadership and management in relation to business, economics, education, sports as well as the entire industry awaiting digital transformation.

Therefore, the suggested research topics of this year’s conference are as follows:

• Leaders as drivers of economic growth
• From an entrepreneurial idea to a corporation
• Digital transformation in business
• Lifelong learning: leadership or challenge?
• Entrepreneurship and investing in education
• Leaders in sport

In addition, conference participants will be provided the opportunity to attend a keynote speech, a panel discussion on “FROM ENTREPRENEUR TO LEADER”, expert roundtables as well as academic sessions where they can present their latest research in the field.

The overall interdisciplinary nature of the conference encourages exchange of ideas and experiences among scholars, professionals, and students of social and other sciences and welcomes entries that will provide new perspectives on leadership in the context of contemporary business.

The deadline for early-bird registration is October 31, 2017, while the regular deadline is January 15, 2018, when all of the submissions are expected to arrive at the latest.

All submissions undergo a double-blind, peer-reviewed process which, subject to passing, will result in the publication in the Conference Proceedings. Papers of exceptional quality will be offered publication in the international peer-reviewed Journal of Business Paradigms and other selected periodicals.
