Open lectures by Arbëresh professors Francesco Altimari, Matteo Mandadala and the entrepreneur Ernesto Madeo at the University of Shkodra "Luigi Gurakuqi"

Prof. Altimari, Prof. Mandala and the entrepreneur Madeo held a series of lectures at Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi" on 10 June, 2015.
Prof. Francesco Altimari has been offering lectures at our university for several years and teaches the course titled "Arbëresh Studies ". These lectures were primarily focused on the researches on the Arbëresh dialects from the South Italy. These resources served for the birth of an Arbëresh dialectology which continued with some Arbëresh dialectology developments in Italy, in Germanic countries, in Albania and various countries of Southeast Europe. These lectures also included the latest updates and researches to this discipline.
The lectures held by Prof. Matteo Mandala had a special interest. In his lectures there was paid attention to some manuscripts of the work of the famous scholar De Rada which were recently found in archives.
Ernesto Madeo, a successful entrepreneur of "Madeo" group held an open lecture for the students of the Faculty of Economics, which was attended by a great interest
