The Faculty of Economics organized "Job Fair 2015".

The Faculty of Economics of Shkodra University "Luigj Gurakuqi" in cooperation with the Regional Labor Office in Shkodra and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shkodra, organized the "Job Fair 2015".
This fair brought to the participants a certain range of job seekers, who are students of the University of Shkodra. This Job Fair offered an opportunity to companies and graduates in different fields of study at University of Shkodra in order to meet and get in touch with each other.
The fair was held at the conference hall of Hotel Colosseo, on 18. 04. 2015.
The activity was opened by the Head of the Department of Tourism, Prof. as. dr. Brilanda Bushati. The opening ceremony went on with the speech of Ms. Elida Boshniaku, representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shkodra, who wished that the activity had concrete results in the future.
The Director of Labour Office, Mr. Dode Mehmetaj, thanked the main actors of this fruitful cooperation. He praised the Faculty of Economics as initiator and catalyst of youth employment.
Taking the floor, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. dr. Arjeta Troshani, praised the tradition created in cooperation with businesses for such an event. She said: “The Faculty of Economics hopes and claims to best serve to the students through businesses that operate in the region. I would also like to inform you about the new course which will be offered in "Import-Export manager". This training is offered in collaboration with the professors of the Faculty of Economics and the Italian Association "Pro Fin".
Later the legal representative of the Italian Association "Pro Fin", Mr. Nicolò Castelli, made a detailed presentation of this training course.
"Job Fair 2015" went on with the interviews that the representatives of different businesses had with participating students.
This is considered a good opportunity for employers to:
• plan new employments;
• hire new well qualified staff, full time or part-time;
• provide training and professional practices;
• establish contacts with students and professors;
• promote their companies;

This fair was attended by students who are under their graduation (Bachelor and Master in both scientific or professional level), young graduates seeking work or students who want to practice their knowledge at various private entities or wish be trained.
This opportunity also offered effective solution and eased the process of recruiting new employees, saving time for employers, as they were able to collect more CV-s, meet with many new students and were also able to interview and establish contacts with them;
Companies also had the opportunities to disseminate their promotional materials.
