Meeting with the world-famous tenor Agim Hushi.

The meeting with the world-famous tenor Agim Hushi was organised at the University Scientific Library on Monday 26th 2015.
According to the program of this activity, the meeting was opened by professor Qamil Gjyrezi who also represented his work titled: "Opera Music in the education and intellectual formation, its psychological style." The speaker gave a presentation on the life and career of the famous tenor in the international arena. During the activity there was highlighted the fact that Mr. Agim Hushi is the first Albanian soloist who has been offered an international contract. Hushi was a student of Language and Literature at Shkodra University. Mr. Gjyrezi stressed the international critical assessments for the tenor who has performed in Australia, New Zealand, China, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Cyprus, Denmark, Italy, Spain, UK, Switzerland, Austria, etc. In 2000, Australia's Prime Minister has awarded Mr. Agim Hushi with the most important title: "Emerging Artist of the Year 2000"
Referring his work titled: “Opera Music and its importance. World experience of operatic activity ", Prof. Agim Hushi among others stressed out the fact that building a career as an Albanian artist in the world was a very difficult. He said: "Dealing with real art is a challenge because nowadays art has taken a commercial aspect but the more great art is produced the more hope there is for humanity". Mr. Hushi thanked the organizers, students and teachers for the participation in the event and made an assessment for the University of Shkodra where he was a student.
The meeting went on with some discussion on the above mentioned topics.
